RC Overhaul Aluminum Shock Set (Fr&Rr) Red, Grom RCO-AR025R
Fit these to your Grom and adjust the spring tension, with the fully adjustable threaded shock bodies, to get the perfect setup you desire. Aluminum top and bottom ball joints, with a steel shaft, gives you the strength of an all metal shock absorber. The spring is stiffer than the stock spring, and is a little long, so a better setup can be acheived if the spring is made shorter.
Designed as emulsion shocks, fill the oil slightly over the top of the body, loosely fit the cap, slowly callapse the shock, then tighten the cap when fully callapsed.
- Recommended oil viscosity:
- Mojave Grom: 80wt / 1000cst
- Typhon/Granite: 100wt / 1300cst
- 60mm Long (2mm longer than stock) Fit the spare seal on the shaft inside the shock to reduce the travel if required.
