Castle Creations Mamba Monster X ESC & 2650KV V2 Sensored Motor

First came the Monster, then the Monster 2, and now the Monster X. The Monster X Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) elevates Castle's legendary performance to the next level. Waterproof*, it supports 2S LiPo up to 6S LiPo and is ideal for 1/8th scale buggies, truggies, on-road vehicles, and 1/10th scale monster trucks up to 15 lbs.

The Monster X offers extreme performance, including a programmable Auxiliary Wire that allows "on-the-go" adjustments for torque control, max throttle, and other settings via a compatible transmitter. AUX wire functionality is programmable via Castle Link and disabled by default. Updated Audible Alerts notify drivers of calibration issues and error conditions for easier troubleshooting in the field.

The Monster X can be configured to run sensored brushless motors with an optional Sensor Harness. Beta testers report flawless performance in sensored mode, with smooth transitions between sensored and non-sensored operation.

Battery support ranges from 2S to 6S LiPo, and it features a heavy-duty adjustable BEC, with voltages of 5.5V, 6.0V, 7.5V, and 8.0V. Output is rated at 4.5A continuous and 8A peak. A highly efficient 30mm cooling fan is included for optimal performance.

New to Monster X is data logging capability, allowing performance capture and analysis via the Castle Quick Connect Duo (sold separately). Telemetry-ready, owners with Futaba T4PX transmitters can monitor real-time ESC temperature, voltage, and RPM using the Castle Creations S.BUS Telemetry Link.
